This is a fan-based magic set that tries to implement the gameplay and characters of popular Warcraft map DotA All-Stars.
What really just started out as a trip-out thing in the dota forums where there was a sudden flow of simulated heroes
of DotA as magic cards, now came out as a more serious and analytical design work.
How do you merge the gameplay success of both DotA and Magic The Gathering?
Note: This is a 100% fan-based work, all trademarks are owned by whoever owns them. Hopefully though since some of the cards of magic does show great interest of designers of Magic on Warcraft, they would have a kind heart regarding our endeavor,as for the makers of DotA and the company behind Warcraft Blizzard, we hope that you would take this effort as our sign of appreciation for giving us such a great game.
Design Strategy:
This set is designed to be played only in the context of DotA All-Stars MTG. These cards do not mix well with normal Magic sets as their settings ex. power, toughness, casting, damage are specifically arranged to allow Dota Gameplay. Who would want their hero die by a simple Shock? Getz?
